Supporting Documents

To help us review your application, please upload the supporting documents that are relevant to your business. These help us understand who you are, what you produce and demonstrate your commitment to quality and provenance. Every application is individually assessed using the information you provide, together with our own due diligence, to ensure Food Folks remains a trusted marketplace for independent food and drink producers. If a document doesn't apply to your business, simply leave it out. Upload what you have, and if we need any additional information during the review process, we'll contact you directly.
Business Profile
  • Website and social media links.
  • A short history of your business.
  • What products you make.
  • What makes your business unique.
  • Business size, family run etc.
  • Companies House Registration Number.
  • AWRS Number (for alcohol).

Product Portfolio
  • Product catalogue or price list.
  • Three to five product photographs.
  • Product descriptions.
  • Key ingredients or materials.
  • How ingredients are sourced.
  • Any awards or recognitions.
  • Your best-selling products.


Business Verification.
  • Food Hygiene Rating (where applicable).
  • Companies House registration (if applicable).
  • Public or Product Liability Insurance.
  • Alcohol licences or registrations (if applicable)
  • Organic, SALSA, Red Tractor or other certifications.

  • Once your application has been approved, we'll notify you by email with everything you need to activate your producer account and start building your profile.
  • You'll then be able to upload your products, tell your story and become part of the Food Folks community.
